A Systematic Literature Review on Cognitive Radio Networks

Cognitive radio innovation could be able to alleviate the limitation of accessible radio spectrum by facilitating dynamic spectrum access. Analysts have indeed been focusing on empowering this innovative idea in dealing with the wireless spectrum since its presentation. As a result, rapid progress has been made in this sector of exploration. Reviews and instructional exercise papers are absolutely necessary to keep analysts up to speed with these advancements. As a result, we wanted to take a deeper look at the most emerging technologies in sensing of spectrum, from their origins to their present state and history, in this research. We also discuss the advantages and disadvantages of both wideband and narrowband sensing of spectrum techniques, including the implementation challenges. The primary genuine usage of cognitive radio is also discussed in this study as television blank zones. Finally, but certainly not least, we examine at anticipated assessment directions. This study paper was written to help young scientists in the area understand the fundamentals of compressive sensing, spectrum sensing, and artificial intelligence (AI), which are all inspiring for future research and application, as well as to assist analysts in promoting the usefulness of spectrum sensing.
