Rheumatoid Arthritis Genes Classification Using ML Classifiers

RA is a chronic inflammatory disease that mainly affects the joints and results in reduction in life expectancy of 3–10 years. RA is a multi-gene disorder with a genetic component and a heritability estimate of 60%. We used different supervised machine learning algorithms and compare their performance. The input to our classifiers is feature vectors of genes sequences that are labeled as positive and negative. Our classifiers are evaluated on the basis of their accuracies and f1-scores.
