A DESIGN OF DIGITAL TOTE BAG FOR WOMEN'S SAFETY

In recent days, women's safety is a crucial thing that is lacking everywhere. Though the government frames a lot of laws against women abuse still it is happening as usual and also there is no strict action has taken against it. Recent research says that for every 29 minutes a woman got raped in India. So the proposed idea is very effective as it automatically gets activated with a single pull of a handle of the bag or by pressing the button. This paper suggests a digital tote bag that will help them in an emergency. It consists of a GPS module, GSM module and camera module which are being connected with Raspberry Pi board and Arduino. So women in trouble situations can make use of this device and even harm the attacker and escape from them.
