The Research on Damage Effect of Target under the Action of Fragmentation Warhead

Among the warhead types of anti-air missiles for combating aerial targets, fragmented warheads are widely used. The fragmentation warhead destroys the target mainly through the high-speed movement of fragments to penetrate the target. One of the key points to analyzing the damage of the target is the analysis of the warhead movement process during it flying away, and the other is the geometrical equivalence of the target model. Based on the analysis of the warhead fragmentation movement characteristics, this essay builds the flying trajectory model of the fragments, and establishes the vulnerability geometric model of the target and damage probability calculation model to analyze the damage effect of the warhead on the target. The result of this paper provides a theoretical basis for actual verification of target damage probability.
