Research of Cryogenic Launch Vehicle Unattended Technology

The research of unattended filling and testing technology was carried out, not only in order to solve the problem of many operation items and support personal before launching a rocket, but also improve the safety of filling and launching. Aiming at unmanned substation after rocket filling, the overall scheme of the launch vehicle unattended filling and testing was proposed. The design of unattended operation and fault disposal program for normal launch, suspension launch and emergency shutdown were completed. Aiming at key constraints, such as rocket-ground connection and separation operations, and firework operation, the prototypes, such as zero-second separation connector, automatic docking device, automatic switch-on device for fireworks, and the remote monitoring and handling system for rocket state were developed to overcome the constrains. The feasibility and validity of the overall scheme, the process design and the prototypes have got sufficient verification through the demonstration verification. This study lay a firm foundation for the engineering application of unattended technology on the launch vehicle.
