WPA2 Based Wireless Enterprise Configuration

In this Pandemic era, the wireless enterprise configuration has gained more significance as the globe is moving towards the work from culture. The robust, reliable, and secured wireless communication is the need of the day to prevent the attacks which are aimed at stealing network credentials. Hence this paper discusses the design and configuration of Wi-Fi protected access2 (WPA2) enterprise for secured communication. The key requirement of WPA2 is that Wi-Fi enabled devices or supplicants should be correctly configured before connecting to the enterprise to protect from hackers. Therefore, the work discussed in this paper has implemented the technology to discover and mitigate the widespread risks using WPA2 and 802.1x based EAP authentication protocol over the network and remote user access through secured tunneling concept. The enterprise network is configured with multiple VLANs using PEAP protocol. The configuration is successfully implemented and the performance is analysed using protocol ladder and analyzer tools.
