Development of a Web Based Proctor Management System for Academic Institutions

In this paper, the development of a Web Based Proctor Management System for academic institutions is presented with some innovative results that could be implemented in real time approach. The colleges are widely expanding across the country and with it the number of students is increasing. Consequently, the data associated with it is expanding which proves to be tedious work to manage all the data with just the paperwork. This expansion of the information and data pertained to its demands for a better and more convenient system which can be accessed from anywhere and used easily and reduces the work of the faculty. This proctorial system monitors the students’ performance on a timely basis and update the marks for the respective test/exam, upload any certificates and help in overall grooming of the ward. This proctor management system has authentication and authorization for all users. The aim is to develop a user friendly and easy to use web portal which is easily accessible. The project also ensures security at student and proctor end.
