Case Study of Moth Flame Optimization Implementation for Network Challenges

Challenges in computer communication network has increased along with their development. The nodes to be connected scale up with exponential growth, thus the metric to be considered become more complex. Future communication is expected to support ubiquitous intelligence from the core to the end devices of the network. Moth flame optimization (MFO) has been proposed by many papers and proved balanced convergence between exploration and exploitation. This paper will examine the objectives and parameters of MFO application in network challenges. The future challenges from papers will be collected and conclude that selective parameters and randomization can be considered as guidance to implement MFO for specific purposes in network challenges. The contribution of this paper will gather information about best practices in MFO implementation and open new challenges for future research direction in network deployments.
