Weak Signal Detection Based on a Differential Dual-Coupling Method under Lévy Noise

With the continuous development of noise reduction technology for ships, submarines, and other equipment, the acoustic and magnetic noise signals radiated by underwater targets are weaker. They are easily submerged by environmental noise. Therefore, the weak signal detection in the complex marine environment is covered by this article. The traditional Gaussian noise model is difficult to describe the complex and changeable ocean noise environment with intense impulse noise, so a more extensive and realistic Lévy distribution is used in this paper to describe the strong noise background in the complex ocean environment. In order to solve the problem of low signal-to-noise ratio detection, and successfully detect the weak signal and make the detection result more intuitive and accurate, the differential double coupling Duffing oscillation and Van Der Pol-Duffing oscillator detection methods are used in this paper to detect the weak signal. Then analyze the practicability of the detection method that has established a weak signal detection system under the background of Lévy noise. Through experimental calculation, the detection signal-to-noise ratio of the detection system in this paper can be as low as −39.0309dB, which proves that it is feasible to detect weak signals under Lévy noise.
