Multiple User Fairness Power Allocation for Downlink NOMA

This paper describes the comparison between fixed and dynamic power allocation. Also, improved dynamic power allocation compares to fixed power allocation in Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) technology. NOMA can provide technology schemes to support next-generation wireless communications, for example, 5G technology. Power allocation cannot be separated from NOMA technology because power allocation is essential in that technology. With these three power allocation schemes tried on multiple users, in this case, there are three receivers, and we try to make comparisons in detail by considering value in Successive Interference Cancellation (SIC), Channel State Information (CSI), target rate, outage probability, and also sum rate for NOMA users. The strategy used in this case is also based on power allocation. Specifically, the purpose of this paper is to provide user fairness, or in short, fairness here provides priority for dynamic power allocation to three receivers whose positions are far, in the middle, and near from the transmitting Base Station (BS). So that power allocation is focused on faraway users and other users around the transmitting BS. The simulation results show a comparison of fixed and dynamic power allocation to the expected outage probability, target rate, and sum rate from the improvisation of dynamic power allocation.
