The Prototype of Smart Garden Fertigation System with Solar Photovoltaic System Based on IoT

Problems that commonly occur in agricultural environments are dryness and rot. This could be influenced by the type of season in Indonesia and the application of poor control techniques. The research could be used as a solution to simplify farmer's work which uses fertigation based on IoT for monitoring process and implemented the solar cell as an independent generator. The testing system is divided into 3 parts, such as monitoring system, power application from the solar cell, and fertigation system. Power draw system from solar cell done by integrating modules which contain by 4 main components such as polycrystalline of 150 Wp solar cell, watt's meter, PWM of solar charge controller, and accumulator. The data comparison between the sensor and manual measurement obtained an average error of 1.78% for air temperature, 8.28% for total dissolved solids, and 23.39% for light intensity.
