The Development of The Home Electrical Power Consumption System Prototype in Real-Time

The use of smart meters has developed in modern countries and helps users to monitor and control electricity usage more effectively. The smart meter had proved to support the smart grid and smart home technology. This paper presented the monitoring kit system using the Adafruit LCD module, which will be used to see how much voltage, current, power is used and how much it costs during power consumption. So that the design of the measuring instrument for the use of electric power can make the use of power monitored by the owner and can reduce the consumption of electric power. The system using Arduino Wemos as the processor, ACS712 as the current sensor, ZMPT101B as voltage sensor, and DS3231 RCT Module. The user can find the information using the application in Android smartphones.
