AIDAAS: Incident Handling and Remediation Anomaly-based IDaaS for Cloud Service Providers

In recent years cloud computing has become an integral part of the IT sector. Malicious individuals have expanded their capacity to breach Cloud security. It is scattered across nature, which means there are more opportunities for infiltration. Cloud administrators can use multiple deployment scenarios and detection methods to identify distinct attack patterns. Network IDS and Host IDS approaches have gone a long way in detecting known and unexpected threats. A framework of the intrusion detection system, anomaly-based intrusion detection as a service (AIDAAS), is formulated to counter these types of attacks. We developed a method to identify and mitigate anomalous container clouds in this endeavor. We overcame this challenge by using the LSTM neural network to learn normal behavior. This solution is a service-based intrusion detection system that monitors Linux containers on public cloud servers to secure other clients’ applications and cloud environments. This system keeps track of all Linux containers running on the CSP servers where it’s installed.
