Retrofitting of PLC in Fly Ash Brick Making Machine for Increased Productivity

The bricks are produced in a highly compressed form using a fly ash brick machine. In industries, the most significant issue is the overall time required to create bricks in a single cycle. In this work, the machine’s design and programme are completely altered to produce bricks in a cycle in a shorter amount of time. The PLC (Schneider-Zelio) was utilised for this, and it was programmed for a short cycle time. With two manifold blocks, time parameters have been decreased and overall machine pressure has been enhanced (High pressure & Low pressure). We were able to run two different procedures at the same time as a result of using two manifold blocks.
