An Optimized Algorithm of Balise Message Decoding

The safe and efficient transmission of balise message is the key issue that needs to be solved in recent years. According to the FFFIS(Form Fit Function Interface Specification) coding strategy of the European Railway Signal Standards Organization, this paper designs a optimization strategy for balise message decoding. Different from the traditional decoding method, this algorithm can correctly decode the message and avoid a large number of repeated calculations in a strong noise environment, and is more suitable for hardware implementation. In addition, this paper also proposes a majority filtering algorithm to eliminate the influence of random noise in the transmission process. Simulation results show that: Using the decoding method in this paper will improve the decoding efficiency and accuracy in a strong noisy environment. The theoretical feasibility of this method is verified.
