Unmanned Aquatic Multi-Functional Robot

Water being the basic requirement of all living beings, it needs to be kept clean and hygienic. Disposal of wastes in various water bodies affects the water quality, causing water pollution. Cleaning the aquatic waste and continuously monitoring the quality of water efficiently and effectively is a challenging issue, thereby seeking some technological solutions. The multifunctional aquatic robot designed aims to address this issue. This robot based on the Internet of Things helps in collecting all the surface waste from the water bodies, including the oil spills. It uses wireless communication and various sensors to traverse automatically and collectively perform the cleaning and monitoring operation. The data acquired from the sensors is sent to the cloud. The system also includes a fish feeder and a weed cutting system along with the skimmer belt to take care of the oil spills.
