Research on deviation assessment regulation of load aggregator participating in power grid dynamic balance

To solve the limitation of evaluating load aggregators by the Single Pricing Energy Imbalance Settlement (SP-EIS) mechanism, this paper proposes the Piecewise Linear Penalty Pricing Scheme (PLP-EIS) mechanism. By establishing a cost model including four power purchase modes, the optimization model of electricity purchase of load aggregators considering the PLP-EIS assessment mechanism is put forward. The operation data of a certain province's electricity market has been analyzed using the proposed model for example. The PLP-EIS mechanism shows a better result than the SP-EIS mechanism, the company's average power deviation rate was only 1.65%, the maximum deviation rate was only 2.7%, and the minimum deviation rate even dropped to 0.11%.
