All Optical Service Network for F5G

With the rapid development of access and transmission technology of fixed networks, the fifth-generation fixed network (F5G) era is coming. F5G can support the 5th generation mobile networks (5G). All optical service network (AOSN) is a new network prototype for F5G, which aims to realize the pipeline aware service. This paper proposes the architecture of AOSN, and discusses the typical application scenarios, key technologies, as well as challenges and opportunities.
