Angular Motion Analysis of Dynamically Asymmetrical Variable Structure Spacecraft by the Phase Trajectory Curvature Method

The dynamics of a spacecraft (SC) of variable mass with partial twisting is investigated. To analyze the dynamics of motion, the method of curvature of the phase trajectory is used, which is generalized to the case of a dynamically asymmetric spacecraft. Some special cases are considered and a comparison with the corresponding cases of a dynamically symmetrical spacecraft is made. An attempt is made to assess the applicability and efficiency of this method for solving practical problems.
