Design and optimization of maglev vibration isolation for underwater unmanned vehicle

In order to improve the low frequency vibration isolation effect of underwater unmanned vehicle, a kind of vibration isolator with high static and low dynamic stiffness (HSLDS) is designed. The isolator adopts Halbach permanent magnet structure, with large suspension force and low axial stiffness. This paper introduces the structure of the vibration isolator and establishes the finite element model of the magnetic suspension vibration isolator. The effects of the stator permanent magnet height, air gap width and other structural parameters on the negative stiffness characteristics were analyzed. With these parameters as constraints, the design of the isolator was carried out with the goal of large static axial force and small axial dynamic stiffness in the working area. Finally, an experimental prototype is developed to verify the performance of vibration isolation. The experimental result shows that the natural frequency of the isolator is 0.7 Hz, and the isolator has good performance.
