Understanding Customers In Using Electronic Wallet Through Trust And Technology Acceptance Model (TAM)

Our research aims to find out and analyzing the effect between factors that affect the users in using an electronic wallet TAM. TAM is not something new in research. However the development of TAM could be fundamental and can lead to something beneficial in the future research along with the growth of technology. The quantitative descriptive method is being used in this paper. The technology acceptance model is associated with trust in Our research. Trust is being used in Our research because it is believed as one of th e factors that may affect the actual usage of customers. Our research uses primary and secondary data through questionnaires and literature studies. Our research uses 100 University Students as respondents which being analyzed using SEM PLS with the bootstrapping method of 1000 sub-samples. It is found that trust has a positive effect on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. Perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use have positive effects on the actual use of an e-wallet. Perceived ease of use can be an intervening variable between trust and actual use of e-wallet.
