A Universal Open Architecture of Health Management System for Radars

Facing the higher requirements of weapons' support for combat effectiveness from services and arms, it is an urgent need to implement the rapid and high-quality research and development of radar's Health Management System (HMS). It becomes the only way for large-scale equipment of HMS to adopt the standard, universal and open architecture. Usually radar's HMS is composed of monitoring network and health information processing terminals. An open architecture for HMS's hardware was promoted including the ‘system, subsystem and module’ three levels, after the introduction of the normal working mechanism of HMS. Then the design of four-level software architecture was promoted as well as the requirement for open interface design, targeting at the requirement for the health information processing software for general purpose. Finally an open health data storage architecture and efficient mining mechanism were also put forward to safeguard the usability and availability.
