Prolegomena of a Multi-Level Modeling Method Illustrated with the FMMLx

Against the background of selected general design principles, the paper presents a preliminary draft of a multilevel modeling method. The proposal focuses on two parts. First, it offers design principles and guidelines for supporting design decisions to support the design of appropriate models. The guidelines are illustrated with examples created with the FMML
