Remote Audit Improvement Methods in the System-oriented Information and Security Analysis

The article describes key audit and objective evidence collection requirements and remote auditing methods. ISO 19011: 2018, GOST R 57100-2016 / ISO / IEC / IEEE 42010: 2011 and IAF ID3: 2011 were used as guidelines. Foreign and Russian literature was reviewed, and observation methods were employed. The main opportunities for an audit risk analysis were identified, taking into account the information security requirements. The article aims to study information and communication technologies that are used to improve the remote audit method accounting for the international requirements and risks. The most optimal methods for conducting remote audits in compliance with the information security management requirements were chosen. Opportunities and risks for remote audits were identified.
