Implementing E-Learning in the System of Engineering Students Training

The paper considers implementing e-learning in engineering students' language training at the university. E-learning helps to complement traditional methods and ensure foreign engineering students' better learning results. But the implementation of e-learning is linked with difficulties educators and engineering students meet. The aim is to consider the use of e-learning in the professional engineering education. According to the purpose, we put into practice a needs analysis, questionnaire and interview. The results show that the majority understands the importance of e-learning for professional engineering education, but they are not acquainted with the types of e-learning. On the results basis, the authors implement e-learning in the foreign engineering students' language training, such as social networks, language learning platforms and the online course, “Methodical support to the textbook” Touchstone “(for engineers)”. The results reveal that e-learning improves language skills, promotes engineering students' integration into the educational process.
