A High-Efficiency Rectifier with bootstrapping technique for Wireless Power Transfer System

This paper presents a design of a 6.78 MHz rectifier with bootstrapping technique proposed for wireless power transfer (WPT) systems to improve the efficiency and performance of the system. The proposed design cancels the threshold voltage of MOS transistors by using a bootstrapping technique. The proposed circuit design input voltage and input power are 17 $V_{P-P}$, and 5 W respectively. The output voltage and output power attained are 15 V, and 4.2 W respectively. The proposed design achieves a peak power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 84% at 5 W input power. The proposed circuit is implemented on CMOS 0.18 µm process.
