A Review on Image Steganography and its Applications

In today’s busy times everyone relies on fast network for communication. It has proved to be an efficient and easy way to communicate across the globe. Nonetheless, the hazards of being spied upon while the information is transmitted seem to have increased with advancement of technology. The demand to secure data throughout its transmission remains an important yet exact task in Network Security. Cryptography is an approach to protect information being transmitted through code and copious cryptographic methods. It is done in such a manner that the knowing receiver can acknowledge, use, operate and store data for other purposes. In this paper, the different methods of using Image Steganography to protect data transfer have been discussed.
