Problems of the Development of Vehicle Recycling

Article analyzes the main approaches to solving problem of waste disposal in Russia. Article provides an overview of foreign and domestic sources on various aspects of issue of managing the final life cycle stage of vehicles. Article discusses environmental problems associated with development of automotive market in Russia. Automobile transport is one of the sources of environmental problems; article considers the strategy for development of industrial production to reduce environmental damage in the world. Problems encountered by auto-recycling process, role of recycling collection in this issue are considered. Issues that auto-recycling can solve are analyzed. A comparison with countries with the most advanced automotive industries has shown that a developed automotive sector is characterized by developed infrastructure which supports vehicle at all stages of its life cycle. Trends in magnitude of utilization collection are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to changes in 2020, in particular changes in coefficients used to calculate utilization fee, the list of vehicles for which utilization fee is applied. The role of the state in regulation of motor vehicles utilization process in the Russian Federation is considered. Analyzed situation with development of recycling vehicles to be disposed of. Programs of autorecycling cannot fundamentally solve problem of waste disposal that is currently produced in the city. The problem must be addressed using an integrated approach. Methods of disposal shall be provided at the stage of manufacture of the goods.
