Research on Equipotential Construction of Multi Station Integrated Data Center

“Multi station integration” is the development direction of the current power grid. Multiple functions such as substation, energy storage power station and data center station will be integrated into the substation to form a fusion station. It will be the hub and sharing platform of the future power grid. This paper introduces the new data center, energy storage PCS and communication integration construction scheme of a 35 kV Substation in Shanghai, and establishes the grounding network model based on the substation and data center. In order to improve the laying of equipotential network and ensure the safe operation of data center equipment, the ground potential rise and conductor potential difference of data center equipotential network under lightning stroke are studied. At the same time, the frequency distribution introduced by lightning current is analyzed, which is used to optimize the equipment filtering and isolation measures and ensure the normal operation of the equipment. Based on CDEGS software, this paper uses FFTSES and HIFRQ module to build simulation environment and establish simulation model. Finally, according to the actual situation, some feasible measures are put forward.
