Research on Collaborative Scheduling of Aircraft Ground Service Vehicles Based on Simple Temporal Network

Aircraft ground service is an important part of the airport operation. The series of ground services aircraft accepts during its turnaround time are performed by non- homogeneous service vehicles owned by different departments. Being affected by the factors, such as businesses and target benefits, the traditional centralized collaborative scheduling strategy cannot assure the autonomy, so the collaborative scheduling research of flight ground service vehicles based on Simple Temporal Network (STN) was proposed. Firstly, a model to describe flight ground service problems based on STN was established. The consistency and solving method of STN were analyzed. Secondly the model was decoupled with temporal decoupling method, and the schedule of scheduling tasks for each service was generated. In this case, each business department could dispatch vehicles for aircraft ground service individually. Finally, taking refueling services as an example, the scheduling model of refueling truck was built with the optimization objective to minimize the total start time of refueling services and boarding services. Experiment was conducted based on actual light operation data of Beijing Capital International Airport. Lingo was used to solve the model and collaborative scheduling of aircraft ground service vehicles was achieved.
