A Short Tutorial:From Neuroscience to Detection of Pseudo Epileptic Seizure

Neuroscience is basically one of the main research areas of neuroanatomy. In one aspect, it deeply conducts the research on the cell biology and in other aspect goes to brain disorders. This short tutorial presents the beginning story of neuroscience as neuroanatomy up to the todays conducting on hot research area as the detection of the pseudo epileptic seizure. The comparison of different detection methods for nonepileptic seizures is discussed. The performances have shown that the rate for the detection is approaching to 95% for the epileptic seizures on some classes of the EEG signals and/or video EEG monitoring with EMG/ECG recordings. The new algorithms are applied to distinguish the epileptic and pseudo epileptic seizures where they have many similarities besides of the critical differences.
