Industrial Pilot Operation of Mobile Portable Timer-energy Meter for Monitoring Parameters of Electric Network

The analysis of literature sources has shown that the issue of developing new means of monitoring the parameters of the operating modes of electric networks, including devices and instrument complexes that allow measuring and recording parameters and at the same time have a low cost, is relevant. Such means include the author's device mobile portable timer-energy meter (TEMP-3). TEMP-3 allows to measure and record on a removable memory card such parameters of network operation modes as current, voltage, power, operating time and others, it is equipped with a rechargeable battery for operation when power is turned off, it has a low cost. To assess the possibilities of using the TEMP-3 in electric grid organizations, it has been carried out production pilot operation in the electric networks of the Branch of IDGC of Center PJSC-Orelenergo and compared with an industrially produced electricity quality analyser. The prospects of using the device in power grid organizations are revealed. It is determined that the device makes measurements correctly, however, it is needed to adjust the algorithm for registering measurement results for ease of use and improving the accuracy of the obtained standard values of the measured parameters. The device have allowed to recommend a number of measures for energy saving and network development and is recommended for use.
