Digitalization of Energy Management in an Industrial Enterprise

The paper presents the task of developing a digital energy management system for industrial enterprises. The work in this area is analyzed and their shortcomings are identified. The essence of the problem is revealed and the rationale for the use of digitalization for its solution is given. A methodology for creating a digital energy management system for an enterprise is proposed. In the control system, the data flows circulating between external objects are investigated: the department of the chief power engineer, the accounting department, the planning and economic department, and the divisions of the main production. The digital energy management system provides automatic control of the use of energy and equipment, which makes it possible to obtain a picture of the energy consumption of each facility as close as possible to real time and, accordingly, to plan and regulate the consumption of its facilities with maximum efficiency, i.e. to maintain the policy of rational use of all types of energy resources at the enterprise. The system provides conversion of the initial information to a form convenient for storage; storage of initial, basic and output information, carrying out the necessary calculations, receiving and outputting documentation for making management decisions. The proposed control system can be used at any industrial enterprise.
