Development of a mouth-mouse for quadriplegics

A rehabilitation device that is actuated by tongue and biting actions is presented. The device performs the usual functions of a computer mouse and facilitates control of a computer by severely handicapped individuals. A prototype system has functioned satisfactorily. The mouth piece needs to be customized to the individual patient.<>
