A Constructionism-Based Learning Framework to Promote EMT Conduit Bending Practice Skills

The objective of this article is to organize learning and practicing model on the basis of the constructionism-based learning framework with a view to minimize the weakness of the practice of the EMT conduit bending. This framework stimulates systematic thinking skills among the students who implements it into the realization of their projects. The tools include a teacher manual, laboratory sheets, a practice set, test sheets, and a VDO clip. The model was experimented with the students of the Faculty of Industrial Technology, Chitralada Technology Institute. The results reveal that the model triggered the participation of the students in learning activities, promoted adequate knowledge and skills. Furthermore, after comparing existing and newly acquired knowledges, the students value the learning, understand the lessons better, and are able to implement the knowledge into practice leading to the effectiveness of the project realization, the reduction of damage during the practicing.
