Air-Aura (Adaptive Lighting Solutions and Sensors for Sustainable and Covid proof Aviation Experience)

The post Covid-19 era redefines safety and security for all of us. Designing efficient, sustainable and contactless systems is the need of the hour, especially in the aviation industry. The proposed solution, “Air-Aura” plays an important role in offering safer travel and ensuring reduced carbon footprints by making use of four signature modules that work in sync to offer holistic enhancement of flight experience. The first module helps in reducing the effect of jet lag through an adaptive lighting system. The second module helps to reduce overall power consumption in airport systems by utilizing a smartsense-based trigger mechanism. Existing safety standards are redefined through a UV based targeted disinfection system as offered in the third module. The last module ensures complete handsfree control of the overhead panel to offer safer and smarter feature access for passengers. Hence, these modules collectively help in achieving a redefined and user-friendly flight experience.
