Streaming Model of Traffic Management in the Telecommunication Network

A streaming model of traffic control in a telecommunication network is proposed, which provides a consistent solution to the following network problems: multipath routing; traffic profiling; dynamic distribution of the bandwidth of communication channels between user flows. Within the framework of the solutions obtained, the required values of such key indicators of the quality of service as the packet transmission rate, average delay and the probability of packet loss are provided. In general, the use of the solutions proposed in the article, as shown by the research results, made it possible to reduce denials of service on average from 60-75% to 80%, and also to reduce by 15-35% the permissible value of multipath packet delay without limiting the intensity input stream. From the point of view of the practical implementation of the developed model, it is worth noting that the greatest efficiency of its application is provided in conditions of multi-stream traffic of various classes of service with differentiated QoS requirements for a variety of indicators: transmission rate, average delay, and probability of packet loss.
