An Efficient Scheme for Compression of Electro Cardiac Signal using Divide and Conquer Algorithm

This article discusses a technique of electrocardiogram (ECG). Methods include discrete processing of waves (DWT), rapid processing (FFT) and discrete cosine transformation (DCT). Compressive Ratios (CR), Mean PRDs, MSE, Maximum ERR and Signal to PRD Control Ratios (CR) are a comparison analysis of the output of different transforms for ECG signals (SNR). The simulation results show how efficient the biomedical signal processing is in these transformations. The wavelet's discrete transformation produces good fidelity parameters with a comparable compression ratio in relation to discreet cosine and rapid four-fold transformation.
