Integrated Interference Solutions Between 5G and Satellite Systems

5G scale deployment spectrum is C-Band but satellite spectrum is adjacent to C-Band in many countries, therefore interference risk exists. This paper analyzes the possible interference types and risks between 5G and satellite systems, and proposes typical network configuration parameters for various interference type analysis, meanwhile introducing a new propagation model. Based on this propagation model, the required spatial isolation distance is obtained according to the theoretical simulation analysis, which proves that the comprehensive solution is needed to solve the interference problem between 5G and satellite systems. Finally, based on theoretical analysis, engineering and other corresponding factors, innovative integrated solutions are proposed and applied to a typical 5G network to prove the effectiveness and engineering feasibility of the integrated solutions.
