Research on the Mediating Role of Leader Humor and Employee Voice Behavior Based on Structural Equation Model

Humor plays an essential role in leadership management, and its influence on interpersonal relationships and organizational citizenship behavior has attracted the attention of engineering and technology enterprises. Therefore, this paper takes 353 Chinese employees in communication engineering, construction, and other industries as the research objects and constructs a theoretical relationship model among leader humor, relationship energy, and employee voice behavior. In this study, the structural equation model is used for confirmatory factor analysis and hypothesis testing in Mplus8.0 software. The bootstrap method is used to test the effectiveness of the mediating effect. The results show that relational energy plays a significant mediating role between leader humor and employee voice behavior. The research results of this paper provide theoretical support and practical enlightenment for modern engineering enterprises to stimulate employee voice behavior from the perspective of the relationship.
