Fabrication of Polarization Control Devices using Metal Grating Structures

A polarization control device using a plasmonic metasurface was realized with the aim of obtaining a desired polarization state. Using a Ag grating structure, the structure-dependent transmittance and phase difference can be controlled. Furthermore, from the Poincaré sphere it is clear that the polarization state can also be controlled.
