Recognize the Rect-Octo Pattern in a Video Compression based on Block-based Motion Estimation

In modern era, pattern recognition is becoming increasingly popular and important, attracting interest from an ever-widening range of sources. In this paper, we developed a rect-octo pattern that may be used in conjunction with a rapid block motion estimation approach. When compared to prior patterns utilised in the block motion estimation technique, the proposed rect-octo pattern is capable of identifying the motion vector with less search points and hence requires fewer search points. The new proposed rect-octo pattern outperforms previously implemented approaches, most noticeably while searching for big motion vectors. In this work, we demonstrate how the suggested pattern decreases search points in comparison to prior techniques and improves the accuracy of the motion vector.
