Internet of Things based Smart Irrigation Motor System

India's economy is built on agriculture. Farmers are currently confronted with a slew of challenges when it comes to irrigating their crops. Advanced irrigation systems must be employed to address these challenges. The "Smart Irrigation Motor System" project provides an IoT-based system that allows farmers to turn on and off irrigation motor from any location through a mobile application. In reality, even if the power supply is given to the motor, there is a 3 in 10 chance that motor might not turn on. In such cases, farmer has to be physically present at the motor to identify the problem. So, the use of a webcam allows farmers to monitor the working of irrigation motor. If there is a power outage when irrigating the field, the farmer must wait until power is restored before turning on the motor. However, this idea uses the GSM module to send a Phone call to the farmer notifying power outages and restorations. So that the farmer may review the camera input and turn on the motor when power is restored. The farmer's task is made easier as a result of this effort.
