The influence of the electromagnetic field on the neural network monitoring of insulation materials for electric cable networks

The paper is devoted to the study of the method of electromagnetic processes computer simulation in insulating materials of a single-phase power cable with polyethylene insulation. The electromagnetic field influence on the thermal process's measurement is considered, and studies of the electromagnetic radiation level from highvoltage power cable lines are carried out. The problem of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is associated with ensuring the proper operation of a set of primary (power) and secondary circuits (electronic devices). Mathematical models of single-core cables with XLPE insulation have been developed, including a joint solution of the electromagnetic and related thermal problems. The connection between the operating current in the line and heat dissipation has been established. All electromagnetic and thermal effects were considered. The results of numerical simulation of the dependence of the time to the breakdown of the main cable insulation on the electric field strength at different temperatures are presented. And also, the dependence of the layer-by-layer propagation of magnetic induction on the radius for homogeneous insulation and in the presence of a basic insulation section with an air cavity. The creation, training, and modeling of a neural network for the operating modes forecasting of a power cable line (PCL) was carried out using the Neural Network Toolbox in Matlab Simulink. The separation of useful signals of PCL temperature among various types of noise is shown by the method of signal selection using wavelet transform.
