Design and Build Automatic Measuring Equipment using Mini Water Pump based on Android Control

The presentation of coffee drinks in shops is still done manually, where the presentation must estimate the number of ingredients. However, some people did not like the results of the presentation. Therefore, to make it easier and help better service, this study designed an automatic tool to measure three types of liquids in the form of coffee, milk, and sugar to produce a cup of coffee in accordance with the desired dose so that people can enjoy coffee drinks according to their taste. In its implementation, this research uses an experimental method utilizing bluetooth android technology so that the automatic measuring instrument has a high enough accuracy so that people who want to enter the industrial world as well as an alternative process of serving coffee drinks can take advantage of it. The combustion process uses a mini water pump which can later be controlled via Android. Each pump has different characteristics seen from the flow rate. The characteristics of each pump become the set point for the dosing process. Where pump 1 has a characteristic value of 31.03 ml/s, pump 2 is 29.06 ml/s, pump 3 is 30.15 ml/s and the highest tool error value in the test is 5.33% with a tool accuracy value of 94.67%. Several factors affect the dosing process including flow rate, viscosity and hydrostatic pressure of the fluid. From the results of testing and experiments, it is shown that the research has been successfully carried out, this is indicated by the tool system that is made to work very well and has high accuracy.
