A Review of Lung Cancer Detection using Image Processing

Lung cancer is considered one of the most threatening carcinoma diseases. If detected early and treated it can save the lives of thousands of people each year. Due to the increasing popularity of image processing techniques in medical fields, it has been possible to improve the detection and treatment of various cancer tumors, such as breast cancer and lung cancer. Processing techniques can help improve the detection and treatment of various cancer tumors. For instance, image-based techniques can help identify potential issues in target images and provide faster access to treatment. This paper reviews the various types of image processing techniques and their applications in the field of cancer detection.
