Simulation of an integrated planning of power and gas distribution grids considering power-to-gas and gas-to-power units

This study presents the simulation of a concept for the integrated planning of power and gas distribution grids. For this purpose, the influence of grid coupling units, as power-to-gas and gas-to-power units, is examined. Afterwards, the developed concept is applied to exemplary power and gas distribution grids and the results are compared with conventional power grid expansion.
