Four-Element UWB-MIMO Fractal Antenna with 8.5GHz Band-Notched Characteristic

In this paper, we have adopted the rectangular block with fractal characteristics and the antenna bandwidth has substantially extended. Besides, the U-slot were etched on the radiation unit to achieve the notch characteristic. We further adopt the four-element array to design the multi-input-multi-output (MIMO) antenna. The antenna size is
$65\times 50\text{mm}^{2}$
. The simulation results show that the operating frequency of antenna is 1.3-14GHz, the maximum of isolation between radiation units is 50 dB. The proposed fractal antenna in this work is promising for UWB-MIMO antenna applications.
