Research and Development of Virtual Reality Application for Teaching Medical Students

Virtual Reality(VR) is one of the technologies that has been highlighted as having the potential to improve learning and teaching. In recent years, virtual reality technologies have advanced significantly, opening up a plethora of new learning opportunities. Beyond the lecture hall, virtual reality allows for more customizable learning experiences. This paper presents the development of a virtual reality application and discussion for teaching medical students about human body parts. This application will allow medical students to closely observe and understand different human organs in 3D view. Android Studio and Google VR SDK have been used for the development of this application. The main aim is to enhance the student's understanding of human anatomy with the help of Virtual Reality.
