Multiband Microstrip Textile Antenna for WiFi/WiMAX/5G Communication

In the present scenario/trend of communication, the multiband antennas are required for future 5G communications. The geometry of proposed antenna consists of two rectangular patches of dimensions 53mm X 47mm and 25mm X 22mm which are designed at 2.4GHz and 5GHz operating frequencies. The proposed work consist of the multiband textile antenna resonating at the ten different frequency bands of 2.4GHz for Wi-Fi, 7.8GHz for WiMAX, 12GHz for FM receiver for satellite broadcasting, 15GHz for fixed wireless system, 22GHz and 28-37GHz onwards for future 5G communications. The simulation result of return loss shows that antenna is radiating at ten frequency bands rather to radiate at two bands only. These extra frequency bands are obtained due to microstrip connecting feed lines acts as monopole antennas. Also the bending performance of proposed antenna has investigated at angle of 45° and radius of 100mm which size of bicep of human being.
